Our Mission & Vision

To date, Grover has circulated over 1.2 million devices, employs over 400 people, and stands as one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in Europe. We hit Unicorn status in 2022, and are scaling internationally!

We're proud to champion a more sustainable way to use tech. With an average of 3-4 rental cycles per device depending on the category, we estimate that the rental of our portfolio from 2015-2021 resulted in 160,000 fewer e-waste products and about 250 tons of e-waste.

We are looking for a mid-level Machine Learning Engineer to deploy the machine learning models for our talented Risk team hybrid (2 days per week min.) at our Berlin HQ.

🎯 What you will contribute:

• Productionize and deploy Machine Learning models for Credit Risk and Fraud Detection in cooperation with Data Scientists.
• Design, develop, maintain, and monitor ML pipelines.
• Build, validate, and clean datasets for model development.
• Maintain and support real-time decision engines (order approval, fraud detection).
• Develop, maintain, and optimize deployment pipelines.

🤝 What you bring:

• BSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or similar fields.
• 2+ years of overarching engineering experience, preferably including fast-paced start-up environments.
• Knowledge of software development practices.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms.
• Knowledge of one of the big cloud services (AWS, Google, Azure).
• Knowledge of frameworks like Faust and Pandas.
• Excellent SQL skills, are a must.
• Knowledge of Python, Docker & Kafka are a plus.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform are a plus.
• Knowledge of Amazon SageMaker is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English.
