Associate STEM Content Analyst

We are looking for an Associate Content STEM Analyst, Biomedicine to join our team in Chennai. The team is responsible for curating biomedicine content from different sources including scientific journals, congress abstracts, clinical trials, patents, and FDA documents which are delivered to Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence.

About You

• Fresher to 2 years of experience in life sciences content curation or relevant
• Life science basics. Preferably with knowledge on biomarkers and genetic variants nomenclature.
• Masters in Life Sciences

Job description

• Review scientific publications and identify data related to Biomarkers/Genes, uses of biomarkers in different diseases, identifying the techniques used and enter data into the BMK and Genomics database using controlled vocabulary and defined data fields.
• Accountable for the delivery of weekly database filling milestones.
• Achieve production volume and quality targets
• Effective personal planning and time management
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager / director on a permanent or temporary basis

It would be great if you also had

• Experience/knowledge in animation tools like Adobe Animate.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Curation of scientific data from various resources like scientific journals, meeting abstracts, patents, clinical trial documents and FDA documents.
• Identify the biomarker and relevant data.
• Identify the genetic variants studied, impact of genetic variants on the disease/drug response along with identifying the synonyms as per the standard nomenclature.
• Create animation/targetscape as per the topic given by analysing relevant resources available.

Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence focuses exclusively on pharma and drug development, harmonizing and integrating essential biological, chemical and pharmacological data from disparate sources into a single platform. • You’ll be reporting to the Team Manager, Content Editing, Biomedicine and join an international and diverse team of around 15 colleagues mostly based in Spain and India.

Hours of Work

40 hours/per day 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST. This is a full-time position
