Your Role on Our Team

As a Senior Supply Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for the balancing of inventory and incoming supply with demand to improve and maintain the delivery performance and inventory turns. You will provide input to the Supply Chain Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products including product life-cycle changes, and product end-of-life.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Long-term and mid-term capacity planning and executing the supply portion of the monthly S&OP process.
  • Place/manage orders to coincide with supply plans from production facilities and US distribution center.
  • Communication and escalation of risks related to inventory and supply plans in terms of lead time and capacity constraints for products.
  • Manage adjustments to plans as necessary, including changes to PO's, schedules, standard costing, etc. within the ERP system.
  • Develop complete analysis/timeline related to supply and demand for new product launches, product end of life, product transitions, and products transferring production location.
  • Maintain metrics/scorecards on KPI's, including fill rates, inventory turns, E&O inventory, and production schedule adherence.
  • Analyze trends, develop reports, facilitate communication and provide feedback on production and supplier performance
  • Perform Risk Analysis and Risk Planning on the schedule as required
  • Monitor slow moving inventory and obsolescence and drive improvements to achieve inventory goals and reduce obsolescence
  • Recommend adjustments to planning strategies and inventory stocking levels
  • Scenario planning anticipating changes in the business and aligning groups
  • Influences others; persuasively presents thoughts and ideas; inspires commitment and ensure support for ideas. Maintains a positive, supportive, and appreciative attitude.
  • Personal development to include continuously updating skills related to inventory control best practices
  • Ability to travel 10% of time
  • Other Duties as assigned.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations Management and a minimum of 4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling or inventory control, can be a combination of internships and/or professional level or equivalent combinations of education & experience
  • Ability to use, navigate, and optimize an ERP system to plan production and purchases
  • Ability to interact and influence all levels of the organization
  • Must demonstrate initiative, problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills required
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy, deadline-oriented environment
  • Proficient use of MS Office software (especially Excel)
  • Strong oral, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
