Reliability Engineer

Air Liquide Bulgaria has been on the domestic market since 1999 and is a countrywide recognised gas producer and supplier of technologies, services and gases for the food industry, large industries, healthcare and environment. Air Liquide Bulgaria has a team of 95 employees serving industrial customers.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Reliability Engineer supports the LI-PP Operations teams in:
- implementing reliability technical standards;
- performing reliability risk studies;
- capitalizing the reliability incidents to which Operations are confronted;
- ensuring documents / SOPs are up to date by organizing the revision as per the new issued group stndarts;
- suporting the implementation of the new IMS procedures;
- follow up action plans coming from internal and external audits.He or She will drive continuous improvement in our production capabilities and maintain the highest standards of quality in our operations.

The Reliability Engineer leads the implementation of reliability technical standards, mostly released through IMS or AL Reliability documents:

He/She is more specifically in charge of a defined list of standards.

For that purpose, He/She analyses the concerned standards and proposes an industrial procedure to specify the respectives contributions of Industrial and Operations teams for the implementation of such standards.

Depending on the proposed plan, He/She is generally expected to:

• perform a gap analysis for each of concerned facility, involving when necessary relevant Experts,

• propose mitigation measures,

• ensure that such measures are validated by a recognized Design Authority when relevant,

• ensure mutual validation of this plan with concerned teams (Operations or Industrial, as previously defined in the standard implementation plan),

• organize the hand-over the action plan by a formal closing meetings involving concerned teams,

• support, monitor and report the progress of such action plans until completion.

The Reliability Engineer is in charge of performing reliability risk analysis, in compliance with IMS requirements, such as vulnerability studies and valve studies. He/She may also be involved in the reliability risk performed in the frame of MOCs.

The Reliability Engineer leads the reliability incident capitalization.

He/She categorizes the events that have been created by the plant managers in the CE incident tracking file “IEIP” (Industrial Event Investigation Platform).
He/She reports them as required in Intelex.
He/She leads the realisation of RCAs with the appropriate quality level and uploads them in Intelex, as a minimum for the most important ones (S1/S2, L1/L2).
He/She is the main contact to the central Industrial Risk Team.

Education: university degree in Operations / Engineering

Previous experience: technical operations - plants & pipelines

Foreign language: fluent English

Knowledge and Knowhow Specific to the Job

• Minimum 3-5 years operational experience in industrial operations, or engineering,
• Strong knowledge of industrial processes and management system;
• Experience establishing, tracking and driving gap closure with KPIs (Key Performance Metrics) or equivalent;
• Experience in Risk Analysis, RCA and Vulnerability studies.
