An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Pricing Negotiation Support Analyst to join the global Commercial Operations department, working within the Global Pricing Ops Team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Pricing Operations and Negotiations, with mentoring from the Director of Global Pricing, you will be a key member of the team and bring your developing negotiations and analytical skills and support the business on Global and Local RFPs. You will be responsible for consulting with all departments to help define reporting, develop analytics solutions and deliver analysis and recommendations on commercial decisions.

There will be considerable on the job training and opportunities to significantly expand your role. This position would suit a candidate who has had experience relevant analytical experience keen to further development their career.

• Serves as a resource for interpreting data and information; communicates results to team members.

• Support team members to facilitate the delivery of Negotiation Support team objectives.

• Work with multiple departments to coordinate negotiation support and deliver pricing to customers

• Utilize analytical tools across all departments and functional areas providing detailed reporting and analysis.

• Maintains and develops strong working relationships with business owners as a process advocate.

• Supports creation of speech and presentation materials for members of the management team.

• Keeps abreast of healthcare trends and competitor activity.

• Performs related duties as assigned

• May be required to travel domestically and internationally on occasion

Knowledge & Skills:

• Ability to effectively participate in cross-functional problem solving teams
• Planning, analytical and conceptual skills to evaluate business problems and identify and apply appropriate solutions
• Solid business acumen
• Experience of relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server or Access) and data management desirable
• Experience with Alteryx desirable
• Experience with statistical or maths packages (e.g. R, Stata, SPSS) desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Excel essential

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience developing strong analytics and reporting knowledge strongly desired.
• Ideally some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or computer science generally obtained through completion of a three/four year Bachelor’s Degree program

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires education in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree Program. Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience; experience in research across a broad range of industries, or equivalent combination of experience and education.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
• Excellent integration, implementation and management skills
• Strong Microsoft Office experience, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs.
