The Engineer-Mechanical Component is responsible for undertaking mechanical engineering activities related to SPC products and technology.
As Engineer-Mechanical Component, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out Finite element analysis of Upstream (Surface) components for SPC business.

Carrying out complex nonlinear analysis using relevant design standards (ISO/API/ASME).

Verifying and substantiating FEA results using hand calculations.

Estimating, planning, and executing work requirements independently.

Understanding product physics and participate in design review meetings to recommend design improvements.

Working with local and global stakeholders from cross functional teams and resolve design challenges/ field issues.

Writing and reviewing technical reports and documents while maintaining expectations on Engineering Quality

Complying with regulatory requirements while ensuring health, safety, and environmental risk control.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

Have 2-5 years of industrial experience as an FEA analyst role.

Have Masters in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline from premier institutes would be an added advantage.

Have basic knowledge of Solid Mechanics and Finite Element Methods.

Have experience of working in Oil & Gas (preferred) or Power /Infrastructure /Automotive businesses of similar scale and complexity.

Have experience in FEA using relevant software.
-
Have knowledge of ANSYS would be an added advantage.
