ATEP is seeking an FP&A Professional. This role will require support of all FP&A efforts at the ATEP level across operations in McKinney. ATEP financial planning provides a dynamic and productive environment for the manager and their team to work in. All levels of analysis in multiple areas of financial disciplines must be managed and consolidated for SSBU and EOIR executive review. Primary duties required are outlined but not limited to the following:

Long Range Plan (LRP) Development and Maintenance – Planning across multiple programs requiring process leadership, verbal, and written communications, and forecast recommendations to program, functional, and product line leadership.

Management and Analysis of the Portfolio’s Annual Operating Plan – AIRS has a diverse portfolio of advanced programs. The professional will oversee all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts to include key metric reporting required at the program and product line levels.

New Business Investing Financial Leadership – The professional will be responsible for all financial budgeting, reporting and oversight of the portfolio’s discretionary expenditures, working independently with portfolio executives on budget development, project approvals, and forecast maintenance. The individual will partner with the business development organization and provide recommendations through ROI and business case analysis as we make critical decisions for our portfolio’s future growth and sustainment.

Internal Customer Interfacing – The professional will interface with EOIR financial planning. They will be responsible for the monthly close process required within the portfolio in support of accounting policy and requirements. The individual will be responsible for working with all of the program business managers to ensure consistent horizontal and vertical reporting and messaging throughout the portfolio.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • 5 years of related experience financial planning, program business analysis, and/or accounting commensurate with the roles and responsibilities of the assignment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, graphing, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with APEX (SAP) and Business Warehouse (BW)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements.
  • Ability to work with geographically diverse teams.
  • Advanced data analysis and mathematical skills are preferred.
  • Experience preparing presentation packages for executive level review.
  • Energetic self-starter with good organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in FP&A concepts, related systems, and processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and key team members.
  • Familiarity with closed area work environments is preferred, but not required.

  • This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Financial Planning & Analyst.
  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
