OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  • The Informatica Data Quality Developer (DQ Developer) is responsible for designing, testing, deploying, and documenting the data quality procedures and their outputs.
  • Throughout each project phase, the DQ Developer provides relevant outputs and results from the data quality procedures, including any ongoing procedures.
  • The DQ Developer must also document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality applications. Perform Upgrades when necessary.
  • Perform data load and mappings from source systems as the scope of quality information increase across the enterprise.
  • The DQ Developer must partner with the Data Governance Office and business data stewards to provide summary results of data quality analysis, which will be used to make decisions regarding how to measure business rules and quality of the data.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for standards when creating mapplets and code migration from development through test.
  • Ensure oversight and access management for the CDQ Repository.
  • Maintain and support the Address Doctor connectors.
  • Maintain data matching logic and Address Doctor dictionaries.
  • Support all request for new API Connections
  • Perform data load and mappings from source systems as the scope of quality information increase across the enterprise.
  • Responsible for standards when creating mapplets and code migration from development through test.

  • Develop and implement additional data quality monitoring based on requirements gathered from business units. Maintain the business playbook which lists all re-useable business rule assets.
  • Provide Data Quality Scorecards, Dash-Boards and Ad-Hoc reporting.
  • Providing recommendations for modification or creation of business rules based on data results.
  • Implement on-going monitoring jobs to understand business challenges and offer advice on how to solve them with DQ Data Quality as a Service.
  • Develop and implement additional data quality monitoring based on requirements gathered from business units.
  • Managing and prioritizing a request queue for new data quality monitoring requests over new data elements, new data quality rules, and maintenance to existing rules.
  • Provide reports for data matching consult on pattern analysis and provide insight to data quality errors.

  • Domain knowledge of Data, Digital and Technology organizations preferably within pharmaceuticals or related industries
  • Optimize data capabilities, processes, and skills to ensure services are operated, monitored, supported, and maintained to best practice standards, aligned to enterprise data service requirements and technology/ business strategy.
  • Lead and support the latest Data Management best practices, principles, and processes.
  • Track records in managing complex supplier and/or customer relationships

  • Effectively communicate with varying levels of management i.e. GDT/DDT Executives, GDT/DDT Project Managers, Supplier Representatives, etc.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or any other related field (or equivalent and related experience preferred)
  • Detailed understanding of Informatica Power Center 9.5 Components and Informatica Developer Components.
  • Knowledge of Informatica Data Quality standards, guidelines and best practices.
  • 5+ years’ experience in defining and deploying data quality programs and tools on enterprise data quality projects.
  • Experience in data profiling & data quality rules development using Informatica Data Quality tools.
  • 5+ years of data analyst experience performing data profiling, data mapping, data validation, data manipulation, data analysis, use case, test cases, etc.
  • Experience with Address Doctor is required.
  • Proven experience translating business problems into actionable data quality initiatives.
  • Familiarity with current trends in Data Quality technologies.
  • Good knowledge on Informatica Data Services (IDS) Informatica Analyst and Informatica Developer.
  • Experience developing web services-based applications with SOA.
  • Data mapping experience – mapping data sources to and from multiple applications.
  • The Informatica Data Quality Developer (DQ Developer) is responsible for designing, testing, deploying, and documenting the data quality procedures and their outputs.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python
  • Need to have good knowledge on different data quality transformations like Parser, KeyGenerator, Match, RestWebService Consumer transformation, WebService Consumer transformation, Human Task etc.
  • Need to have good knowledge on Monitor tool and Analyst tool for creating profiles, score Cards, Data Steward records handling processed by human task (Exceptional handling).
  • Need to have good knowledge on Creating Workflows in IDQ and able to deploy in Application and monitoring, debugging workflows.
