Associate Systems Engineer

Technical Skillsets:

Understanding of routing protocols and firewall concepts.

Understanding of troubleshooting tools like TCP dump, Wireshark, Test-Net connection, etc.

Hands-on experience on routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.

Should be able to understand monitoring tools and provide solutions based on graphs and statistics.

Strong communication skills with solid command of emails and calls.

Should be able to understand monitoring tools and provide solutions based on graphs and statistics.

Strong hands-on experience of high availability solutions like HSRP, VRRP, GLBP etc.

Strong hands-on experience on Site-to-Site VPNs.

Analytical ability to identify issues and their root cause and provide RCAs.

Strong communication skills with solid command of emails and calls.

Day-to-day operational responsibilities:

Handling tasks with defined deadline

Coordinating with project managers for technical tasks to deliver the tasks in time.

Dealing with client Network, IT and management teams including non-IT staff

Improvement in existing networking setups with additional inputs from Network and Security

Should be available as an On-Call resource in off business hours.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an associated discipline with 3 to 5 years" experience.

Azure fundamental certification would be preferable.

Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to communicate well with internal and external customers.
