What is the GSS TA Oversight & Client Relationship group responsible for?

The EMEA & Americas TA Oversight & Client Relationships department provides TA service delivery and business partners oversight, as well as key distribution relationship support, for the funds domiciled in the EMEA Region.

Part of the group is TA Oversight CEE & Broker Financing Team which is responsible for overseeing the TA activities for the CEE region, calculating the manual commission (rebate), and releasing of variety commission fees to our brokers.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of GSS Oversight Broker Financing Analyst?

  • Make the manual commission (rebate) calculations and release of variety commission fees to the clients,
  • Recommend changes to further enhance the current accounting systems for productivity gains. Assist in testing the new features of the systems,
  • Maintain high service standards for our internal client by responding to inquiries in a timely manner,
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and business analysis depending on GSS Overside group needs,
  • Ensure unresolved problems and issues are promptly escalated,
  • Analyze and identify the trend, if any, from issues/exceptions,
  • Recommend ways to minimize the recurrence of such issues/exceptions. These recommendations can include training suggestions, system enhancements, process changes, and policy changes.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Expert use of technology with a strong emphasis on Excel,
  • Previous TA experience would be an asset,
  • Strong attention to details and high accuracy,
  • Ability to work independently and manage own tasks with limited supervision,
  • Fluent command of English – orally and in writing,
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international environment,
  • Ability to work on team projects and achieve team goals,
  • Ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced changing environment,
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of procedures, products, and projects,
  • Ability to influence decisions and execute strategies and processes.
