THE TEAM

The global marketing team drives value to consumers and empowers creators to make Eventbrite the indispensable place for consumer live experiences. The team owns brand, product, performance and content marketing to both creators and consumers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The global marketing team develops and optimizes marketing strategies to drive business growth. We have the opportunity to translate data into actionable insights to inform our marketing levers from demand generation, product marketing to performance marketing. Our process needs to be operationalized to drive deeper integration and alignment to business goals. We have the opportunity to build faster testing and iteration processes and identify systems and tools that will help us modernize our marketing methods.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this person will sit on the marketing leadership team and operate with the executive C suite. This role is “Chief of Staff” in nature with a focus on strategy planning and marketing operations. This role will manage an operations IC with the potential to grow the team based on business needs and capability needs.

This role will have a horizontal view across the marketing stack to help translate data into insights to drive marketing strategy, planning and opportunities for us to optimize our marketing channels and tactics.

THE SKILL SET

  • Minimum (Basic) Requirements: At least 10 years of experience in Marketing strategy planning and Marketing operations. Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Preferred Requirements: At least 12 years of experience in the above areas in Marketplace and/or ecosystem experience with B2B and B2C. Ideal candidates will have this experience at a startup/high-growth tech company.
  • MBA or similar post Bachelor Education preferred.
  • Understanding of the marketing function and key levers
  • Strong understanding of marketing tools, for example email tools, SFDC, marketing automation, etc.
  • Proven ability to build systems and processes that generate value for a business
  • Data-driven mindset and orientation and the ability to translate into actionable insights
  • Experience working cross-functionally across within a function
  • Project management experience

BONUS POINTS

  • A passion for live experiences and/or user of Eventbrite
  • Knowledge of data tools (e.g. Tableau) and/or SQL

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Eventbrite, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in Eventbrite’s incentive program(s) (such as equity, annual incentive bonus and commission plans), subject to the applicable rules and restrictions.
