About The Role:

We are looking for an IT Support Analyst who is passionate about providing excellent customer support and has a keen interest in security vulnerability management. If you are eager to make an impact and you thrive on solving technical challenges and support our business through continued growth, we want you to be part of our dynamic IT Team.

This is a Canada based, fully remote role.

What you'll do:

  • Be the person responsible for our security / vulnerability patch management across our Windows and Mac environments. This will allow you to establish yourself within a critical platform, while allowing you the freedom to design, improve and manage the future of this system.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to the global INSTANDA staff base, across a range of technologies, while maintaining our high standards particularly regarding customer communications and response times.
  • Be involved in the proposal, discussion and implementation of IT projects. Ranging from procurement, infrastructure maintenance, security hardening and more.
  • Support and develop our JML process by managing user accounts across a variety of systems, managing hardware requirements where applicable and identifying methods of improvement to ensure a high-quality experience for the end user.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT team to address and resolve IT-related issues.
  • You will continuously evaluate and improve the IT request and security processes. Implement best practices and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Design and support the roll-out of new applications.
  • When addressing support requests, you’ll take into account the broader impact of the issue to ensure you identify the most effective solution for both the requester and the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT support role.
  • Experience in vulnerability and patch management across Windows and Mac environments.
  • Ability to work independently and engage with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle competing deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Natural problem solver with attention to detail.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
  • Someone with a strong sense of forward planning, who can prioritise their workload based on the business requirements while also considering the available resources, security impacts and project deadlines.
  • ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and an Information Security background would be advantageous.

  • Pay range: $70,000 - $80,000 CAD
