Research Fellow - Motor Design

The School of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is seeking a Research Fellow, who will work on a project to conduct research on development of high-power motor system.

Job Description:

• Development of new motor design concepts for electric motor drives, focusing on vernier motor design
• Development of new fabrication methods for electric motor drives, focusing on vernier motor design
• Experimental testing for motor system, focusing on vernier motor design

Job requirements:

• PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
• Expertise in motor design, and testing
• Knowledge in analytical and numerical modelling
• Publication track record is an advantage
• Excellent Communication skills (Both written and verbal)
