As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our team in this on-site position at our Irvine facility.

The Role

• The Production Planner has a critical role in overseeing production schedule and maintaining inventory levels.
• You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding on time delivery for customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• You will also be responsible for working with various departments while upholding quality standards and meeting customer demands.

The Accountabilities

• Meeting Customer Demands - Timely delivery of products, minimizing lead times, improving customer satisfaction.
• Cost Control-Accurate demand forecasting to assist with minimize inventory holding costs, eliminate bottlenecks and contribute to coast savings.
• Improve Production Efficiency - Streamline production processes, reduce waste and optimize production flow.
• Coordination and Collaboration - Manufacturing planning and scheduling involve cross functional teams.
• Continuous Improvement - Help monitor production performance, evaluating schedules to help areas of opportunities.
• Planning, scheduling, and coordinating production of the company’s products.
• Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production.
• Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management.
• Handling production disruptions and productivity complications.

The Typical Experiences

• 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (with an emphasis in medical devices).
• Well versed in ERP/MRP systems.
• Intermediate in Microsoft office with knowledge of pivot table, data extraction, and high-level reporting.
• Previous Quality Assurance experience in a regulated environment.
• High School Diploma or above.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

$70,000 - $80,000 a year
