About the Role:

As VP of Product & Design at Craft, you'll lead disciplined, scrappy, and effective Product Management and Design teams. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a “seat at the table” role in which you’ll have a significant impact in shaping the evolution of our product, our culture and our company’s growth overall.

What you'll do:

  • Lead Craft’s Product and Design teams in designing and building a best-in-class Supply Chain Resilience Platform that delivers trustworthy, delightful, and rapidly evolving functionality to our users
  • Build an integrated product strategy aligned to our company's short term needs and long term vision ensuring alignment across exec leadership and buy-in from the company
  • Manage the product development lifecycle end-to-end
  • Partner closely with Engineering to set timelines and lead through development and execution
  • Partner closely with the People Team to bring the best technical talent to Craft and foster a culture that supports their ongoing development
  • Continuously refine and evolve product management processes and procedures to ensure productive and efficient collaboration within the product team and across the organization
  • Implement tools, workflows and infrastructure that support increased efficiency and long-term scalability
  • Lead complex technical discussions, evaluate trade-offs, and own the evolution of our product roadmap, ensuring we balance customer needs in the present with our vision for the future
  • Serve as the voice of the customer. Deeply understand customers’ needs and wants, address pain points and transfer customer knowledge into improved experiences
  • Be a steward of the Craft culture: exemplify our core values and maintain an inclusive environment within and beyond the product team
  • Be a leader at Craft: collaborate with the rest of the leadership team and run cross-company initiatives to support the growth and development of the company.

Who you are:

  • A seasoned technology leader with experience in early-stage (Series A-D) growth-minded Enterprise SaaS organizations: You know what it takes to both scale and sustain high performing, multi-level teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: you can effectively communicate and collaborate with all areas of the Product team, cross-functional colleagues, customers & investors.
  • Vision & Direction: You have experience leading an organization and understand how to build and run teams that directly contribute to the success of company objectives
  • A problem solver, able to balance competing priorities, strong process orientation and ability to manage through complexity and rapid change
  • Aptitude for solving real world customer needs and a demonstrated ability to quickly respond to changes in demand and technology
  • Deep level of technical aptitude: Comfortable with driving complex technical discussions and skilled at evaluating tradeoffs.
  • Strong ability to assess mix of roles, skillsets + strengths across org and make appropriate adjustments.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional leaders across a globally distributed organization and exercising sound judgment
  • Hands-on, "can do" attitude and a bias for action; gets it done, on time every time without cutting corners
  • Thrives in fast-paced environment of constant change. Manages numerous time-sensitive matters simultaneously. Positive, resilient and open to candid feedback. Listens to and considers alternatives. Makes decisions.

  • Competitive Salary starting at $280,000 USD/Year. This starting number can be increased based on levels of expertise, location, cost of living, taxes, market experience, etc.
