Senior Software Architect

We are seeking a Senior Software Architect with a passion for technology and fashion to join our dynamic IT team. As a pivotal player in our digital transformation, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design and integration of our .NET, C#, Azure, React, NextJS, and Vercel tech stack, ensuring our Agile teams produce scalable, robust, and high-quality solutions. Your expertise will help us continue to integrate with Best of Breed SaaS solutions, enhancing our digital ecosystem and customer engagement platforms. The ideal candidate is a visionary and a pragmatic problem solver, experienced in designing and implementing scalable systems in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do / Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and development of our software systems using .NET, C#, Azure, React, NextJS, and Vercel.
• Advocate and implement best practices in microservices architecture, Azure Service Bus, REST APIs, and domain-driven design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Guide and mentor multiple Agile development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural designs and best practices.
• Contribute to the Backend Chapter to improve overall standards across the teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology decisions with business goals, driving innovation and efficiency across all digital platforms.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, applying them to enhance our tech stack and development practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in our software architecture, processes, and practices.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a software architecture role.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, Azure, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions
• Bonus: React, NextJS, Vercel, GraphQL, GitHub, Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, Azure Service Bus, REST APIs, and domain-driven design.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems.
• Experience leading Agile development teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong knowledge of integrating SaaS solutions and managing a complex digital ecosystem.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Passion for technology and staying up to date with industry trends.
