As an Application Engineer, youโ€™ll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.

As an Application Engineer - Protection a typical day might include the following:

  • Maintain and improve knowledge of power systems, protection, and all related SEL products.
  • Help customers apply SEL products through visits, demonstrations, training courses and telephone contact.
  • Applies principles, theories, standard techniques, and concepts to provide solutions to a variety of problems.
  • Participates in SEL marketing and sales activities, industry technical meetings, and conferences.
  • Publishes application guides, notes, template guides, software tools, and/or technical conference papers.
