The office of a Conservative Member of Parliament is seeking an executive assistant to support his Parliament Hill office. The position plays a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Hill office and provides essential support to the M.P. in various administrative and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate is professional, and proactive, possesses exceptional communication and writing skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for the Member.
  • Review and discusses commitments, schedules meetings/events, and informs the Member of any changes.
  • Manage the Member’s day-to-day planning, prioritization, and delivery of operational requirements.
  • Manage the Member’s public email account and incoming mail.
  • Draft correspondence including, but not limited to constituents’ letters, inquiries, policy requests, letters of support, and other communications products.
  • Manage the Member’s calendar.
  • Oversee the preparation of meeting agendas, briefings, and reference materials required by the Member for meetings.
