Yubo is a live social discovery app launched in 2015, with the ambition to create a space where Gen Z can belong, feel safe and make friends. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will propose solutions with a product approach, design data models for new features, participate in the evolution of existing products, and help junior team members reach their potential. You will work on a high-volume product/database and ensure the right database is used for the right problem. Technical and mindset prerequisites include 8-10 years of professional experience, mastery of microservices architecture, high-availability topics, event sourcing architecture, Kafka or NATS, and knowledge of various technologies including couchbase, MongoDB, Trino, redis, Postgres, and elasticsearch.
