- Market and trend analysis
- Verification of innovative mainframe solutions
- Business case creation
- Presales support
- Participations on proof of concepts
- Customer support and consulting on mainframe modernization topics
- Creation of solution concepts
- 3rd level technical support for related applications
- Complex problem solving: root cause analysis
- Active participation in daily/weekly customer meetings
- Running mission-critical mainframe applications (automotive, banking processes, etc.)
- Knowledge of IBM industry leading technologies (Mainframe, DB2, WAS and more...)
- Development of new standard processes, methodologies and solutions
- Automation of operational workflows
- Regular contact with German and other international customers and colleagues
Requirements
Your skills:
- Strong z/OS system and subsystem knowledge TSO, ISPF, JCL knowledge, Batch/Scheduling knowledge
- Strong Database knowledge (DB2)
- Strong Middleware knowledge (CICS, MQS, WAS)
- Strong Programming knowledge in REXX or CLIST
- Strong Product knowledge scheduling (AJM, IWS, Control/M)
- Strong Product knowledge mainframe security (RACF)
- Experienced in mainframe modernization
- Project management
- Team-minded/collaborative
- Business language skills in English and German (level C1)
