We’re looking for someone to join our team and work directly with our Co-Founder, Jagriti Agrawal, to build out the Computer Science curriculum that is at the heart of our mission and product. As our Curriculum Developer, you will be responsible for developing instructional materials and content for K-12 students. This is a highly critical role, and we’re looking for someone who is curious, highly educated on computer science principles, and eager to have a big impact.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Work with other content experts to develop high-quality, engaging, and level appropriate content for students.
  • Own concept-to-market life cycle of student learning experiences by developing lesson objectives, exercises/lesson plans, instructional materials (ie. slides, videos, “worksheets”, etc.), formative assessments, and teacher guides for each lesson/unit.
  • Work with learning design experts to ensure content aligns with pedagogical best practices.
  • Work with CS standards experts to build rigorous content that engages students and teachers, and aligns with state standards and local contextsDevelop final assessments, course projects, and scoring guidesInteract with teachers to best understand student, teacher, and classroom needs.

  • A deep understanding of computer science principles and ability to articulate that to a K-12 audience.
  • Experience creating and delivering Problem-, or Challenge-based learning in a K-12 classroom.
  • Preferred experience in K-12 Classroom teacher in Computer Science.
  • Preferred experience developing AI curriculum Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; you can patiently, professionally and effectively communicate with a diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and continentsNimble, scrappy and adaptable.
  • Can roll with the punches and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
  • A positive, can-do attitude. You’re not deterred by minor setbacks and are able to swiftly overcome ambiguity
  • You believe feedback is a gift. You can thoughtfully share feedback to others as needed, and you can receive feedback and grow from it.
  • Will consistently cultivate a culture of inclusion where all team members feel a sense of belonging and can bring their authentic selves to work.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace programs, Microsoft Office Suite.

$75,000 - $100,000 a year

Competitive salary and equity package in a well-funded, high growth company. Compensation is based on a number of relevant factors such as location, professional experience and related skill sets.
