Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare data from multiple sources to ensure a robust and reliable data foundation.
• Analyze large sets of complex data to uncover hidden patterns and insights.
• Develop and select meaningful features to enhance model accuracy and efficiency.
• Design and implement predictive models and algorithms using machine learning techniques.
• Develop natural language understanding methods out of free-unstructured-text using entity extraction and sentiment analysis.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of models through rigorous testing and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a data science or data engineering role.
• Proficiency in standard machine learning tools, with a strong preference for experience in Python libraries.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to handle complex, multivariable analyses.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
