Google Cloud Consultant Architect

The position requires you to participate and support different business verticals in their cloud transformation projects involving GCP throughout sales ,solutioning and delivery

You will support our Internal Teams in Business Verticals and our customers in their Cloud and multicloud strategy and advise them on the architecture choices that will allow them to build an information system that respects best practices and to strive for operational excellence, while providing them with advanced support

You would design and implement solutions, covering the entire GCP service catalog, meeting the customer's expressed need, while ensuring security, resilience, performance, and optimized cost

You will support the development team in the implementation of solutions that take into account the constraints and patterns of the target cloud platform.

You will also participate internally in:

· Skills management with verticals (Support for training and certifications, Assistance in the recruitment of experienced profiles, capitalization and sharing of knowledge, Animation of a technical community)

· Sopra Steria's relationship with our partner Google and will be called upon to demonstrate our know-how to them.

· Business management (Co-management of the business pipeline, Contribution to structuring pre-sales, Support for complex delivery issues)

· Communication, through the writing of articles, blogs, white papers, as well as participation in GCP events (GCP Summit, Google Cloud Next, Sustainability Summit, Security Summit, Data Cloud Summit)

Total Experience Expected: 12-15 years

Requirements

• Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
• 12+ years in Application development with minimum 6 years of relevant experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Certifications and Google Cloud Professional Architect level
• Deep understanding of GCP services and products, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Build , Cloud IAM.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance standards on GCP.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Certifications on other HyperScalers or other Private Cloud are a plus.
• Must have an automation mindset to study/analyze the landscape and build/propose tools.
• Good interpersonal skills, diplomacy and adaptability. Ability to take discretion and committed sense of customer service are essential
• Fluent in English.
