As a Mid-level Motion Designer at Noodle you will be part of a team that creates custom e-learning solutions that combine creative design, educational content and intuitive learning technology, for a sophisticated learner experience. As a Mid-Level Motion Designer, you will:

  • Develop animated 2D motion graphic videos using After Effects, utilizing knowledge of movements, keyframes, timing, plugins, and effects.
  • Source appropriate graphics and extensively tweak and layer pre-existing vector graphics.
  • Rig characters and depict basic movements and gestures.
  • Trim voiceover and music to fit videos, adjusting audio levels, pitch, and duration, and source suitable sound effects.
  • Create clear storyboards and convert whiteboard storyboards into digital format with accompanying script, characters, objects, and actions.
  • Set up and record clean voiceovers, and edit raw audio files to create a polished voiceover.
  • Render and export assets from various programs using appropriate presets.
  • Apply basic 3D production techniques.
  • Apply basic design and animation theory.
  • Conceptualize storyboards for motion graphic videos, proposing appropriate concepts for clients, projects, and target audiences.
  • Identify and apply superior industry examples in storyboarding and development.
  • Meet client expectations in work quality.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
  • Work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

  • 2-5 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Strong portfolio displaying solid motion graphic design experience.
  • Experience working in Adobe CC Suite. After Effects, Illustrator, Audition etc.
  • Computer Literacy – Windows OS
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in animation, graphic design, multimedia design, film production or similar. (Beneficial)
  • Knowledge of 3D programs – 3D Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, etc. (Beneficial)
  • Experience in Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, Character Animator and other Motion Animation Software. (Beneficial)
