HR Officer

The HR Officer will provide support to the Chromalloy Tilburg facility, which will include the development and deployment of Human Resources strategies in support of short term and long-term business goals. The HR Officer must have a variety of experience, education, and “hands-on” administration in all aspects of HR.

This role requires the HR Officer to work in a collaborative manufacturing team environment and be a role model for the Site’s positive employee philosophy.

The HR Officer will be responsible for partnering with the HR Manager to deliver support to a client group of approximately 120 employees with occasional support to other Chromalloy sites.

Essential Functions

The essential functions of this position are:

• Ensures compliance with company HR guidelines, corporate guidelines as well as local, state, and federal laws.
• Work with HR Manager to create and implement key compliance programs by process mapping.
• Assist HR Manager with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new associates at the site.
• Screens, coordinates, and conducts candidate interviews.
• Assist in driving and executing the site's compliance including the training and education of Hiring Managers
• Responsible for record keeping related to new hires, employee reviews, promotions, transfers, separations, etc.
• Assists with administering, monitoring and providing counsel on mid-year and annual performance review program, in a timely and consistent manner, to ensure compliance, effectiveness, and standardization within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years in a HR Officer/Generalist role of a similar size and scope (manufacturing preferred)
• Possesses an understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Has experience partnering with businesses and building relationships.
• Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Proficiency in Dutch employment laws
