- Partner with clients to understand their location-based needs and design solutions using the Google Maps Platform (GMP) suite of tools (Maps, Places, Directions, etc.).
- Develop and implement high-quality, user-friendly map applications using various APIs and SDKs.
- Integrate GMP with other technologies to create seamless user experiences.
- Optimize map applications for performance and scalability.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the Google Maps Platform and related technologies.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and other team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing applications using the Google Maps Platform (2+ years). Strong understanding of web development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with various GMP APIs and SDKs (Maps JavaScript API, Places API, Directions API, etc.).
- Experience with integrating GMP with backend technologies (optional, but a plus).
