Who are we, and what’s the role?

Evolution is a well-established global tech recruitment business and following 23 successful years in business, we are looking to continue our expansion. To help us with this, we are looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team at our HQ in Birchwood, Warrington.

The Business Development Manager will sit within our Key Accounts division and will be responsible for driving growth and building relationships with large enterprise customers, working with them to develop contract IT recruitment solutions and Statements of Work (SOW).

The Business Development manager will use their expertise in conjunction with our insight-led approach to business development, which includes hosting podcasts with prospective clients around meaningful topics. We believe in establishing lasting relationships and this podcast process has proved as a very effective way of doing so across Evolution. The Business Development Manager will also seek out opportunities to attend networking events, acting as an ambassador of the Evolution brand.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

To be considered for this position, demonstrable experience in winning new contract business, specifically within technology/IT is essential. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the contract recruitment market within tech and will bring previous experience in managing the bid and tender process in order to win new business.

The successful candidate will also need an openness to adopting a new way of working to incorporate our insight-led approach, and a passion for delivering outstanding results for our clients.

Pay and benefits:

  • Basic salary negotiable depending on experience, the overall OTE for this role is circa £100k
