The Senior Domestic Income Tax Accountant role will be critical to the success of the Tax Department and will support the rapid growth of our business and move from a loss company to profitability. Reporting to the Tax Manager, the Senior Domestic Income Tax Accountant will support all areas of domestic income taxation, including provision, compliance, planning, and audit defense. The Senior Accountant will work together with the US Senior Tax Accountant to prepare all federal income tax compliance and provisions.

About the Role:

  • Assist in preparing federal (form 1120), state and local income tax returns and related U.S. international forms, statements and disclosures for inclusion in the federal consolidated return.
  • Knowledge in international tax law changes of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 including BEAT, GILTI, and FDII, and keep abreast of new guidance.
  • Prepare quarterly estimated payments in advance of all due dates.
  • Extract relevant financial data from Oracle and other systems to prepare tax and transfer pricing calculations and workpapers using standard reports and external data analytics tools.
  • Prepare quarterly and year end U.S. entity and consolidated US GAAP income tax provisions and disclosures adhering to quarterly closing calendar.
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare documentation to support our federal and state research credits.
  • Prepare documentation to support audit inquiries from tax authorities and internal/external auditors.
  • Prepare compliance related to state credits and incentives.
  • Monitor and report out changes in federal and state tax legislation.
  • Prepare and analyze income tax account reconciliations.
  • Assist in tax planning, M&A, and group financing activities in support of the global finance organization.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the Company.
  • Display a continuous improvement mindset and make suggestions for ways we can work more productively and efficiently.

About You:

  • Corporate tax experience with increasing responsibilities in a high-growth, public, multinational company or Big 4/National public accounting firm.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic high-performance team environment.
  • Knowledge of federal and multistate tax compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Desire to learn and grow in the role, and willingness to accept and incorporate feedback.
  • Effective communication and research skills.
  • Knowledge of Oracle or other large ERPs preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate ownership of high-quality work product with documented self-review.
  • Ability to perform complex analysis and interpret and evaluate various precedents and data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Alteryx or other data analytics tools.
  • Knowledge in Onesource for compliance.
  • Master’s Degree in Taxation or LLM preferred.
  • CPA or JD preferred.
  • Mix of industry and public accounting experience.

Monthly base salary for this position is from 3,000 EUR gross.
