A Day In The Life Of Our Senior Navigation Engineer:

  • Work with cross functional team to identify concepts and solutions
  • Identify, characterize and select sensors used in navigation of flexible medical device inside human body
  • Research, prototype and iterate sensor processing, navigation and sensor fusion algorithms
  • Perform thorough technical evaluation and assist user evaluation
  • Contribute high-quality real-time software implementations that will be incorporated into a medical device
  • Draft technical/regulatory documentation and patent disclosures / applications
  • Be a dynamic team member and support other relevant R&D effort

About You:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or Robotics: minimum BS + 5 years, MS + 3 years or PhD
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid scientific training and analytical skills: mathematics, critical thinking, experimentation, data analysis, hypothesis testing
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience working with IMU sensors and Inertial Navigation System
  • Hands on experience with sensor signal processing such as Kalman Filter and Extended Kalman Filter
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, C# (nice-to-have) and knowledge of OOP
  • Solid fundamental training and hands-on experience in estimation, signal processing, and sensor fusion
  • Knowledge and experience in vision based navigation (SLAM, 3d computer vision and deep learning) strongly preferred
  • Experience in a medical application is preferred
