About the role

Ekco is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant who can lead and motivate a team of cybersecurity experts to provide Advisory and Security Testing services to a reputable Irish enterprise. The person we are looking for will be Ekco’s main point of contact with the client, hands on and working closely with the client to successfully complete projects while expanding upon the existing relationship. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the team's success, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact between Ekco and the client.

  • Lead out a team to successfully deliver projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Define the scope of projects , set project goals, attend and lead project meetings with the client and team members.

  • Establish baseline security requirements for projects, evaluate and scrutinize results according to the control framework.

  • Review and approve project documentation including HLIA, HLD and LLD.

  • Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities and risks.

  • Prepare and present reports on project progress and security findings.

  • Provide final approval for project's security measures.

About You

  • 5 years’ experience in Information Technology or Cybersecurity roles, delivering advice or technical solutions to large SME or Enterprise organisations.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, reporting, and presentation skills.

  • Broad knowledge of information security, risk management and corporate governance.

  • Ability to assess and understand a client’s security posture in line with emerging threats and associated risk and provide recommendations.

  • Networking and IT related security testing experience.

  • Proven ability to review and oversee work performed by team members. Proven ability to analyse problems, identify core issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Fluent in spoken English and excellent written English.

  • Recognized university degree or equivalent, specialising in computer science, information systems, computer forensics, or information security.

  • Hold or be working towards achieving information security qualifications such as – CISM, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIPP/E, CCSP, MCSA, OSCP,

  • It would be an advantage if you have experience and or certifications in Cloud Technologies such as Azure, AWS, and Google.
