Category Manager

Harbor is seeking a Category Manager (Technology) to join our growing team. The Category Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of procurement strategies relating to IT needs at Harbor. This individual will work directly with the Senior Technology Category Manager and report to the Senior Manager/Client Lead for several key accounts. The role will manage critical supplier relationships, lead the sourcing lifecycle for acquisitions of IT equipment, software licensing, and more. This is a full-time hybrid position located in either Manchester or London, UK. Candidates should expect to be onsite at Client office location two to three days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver business value through management of IT projects or contracts of varying complexity and creation of long-term category strategy.
• Lead sourcing lifecycle including requirements gathering, RFPs, coordination of pricing and contracting processes.
• Partner with Technology business unit to lead contract negotiations, pull in additional resources as necessary (security and technology SMEs), execute contracting and approval processes.
