The role:

The New Business Sales team is all about growth, As the Head of New Business you will be responsible for that growth and leading the team to ensure success. This is a superb role that will be of real interest to an experienced Business Development professional with a strong track record in building, leading and coaching high-performing sales teams and driving profitable revenue growth.

It will suit a dynamic candidate who is keen to make an impact, lead, coach and develop a team and play a key role in helping an ambitious organization and Business Development team achieve its full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute customer acquisition and expansion strategies that align with our overall business objectives and contribute as a key driver to the future expansion of Truevo

  • Manage and nurture a team of direct sales professionals across various geographies and customer segments,

  • Collaborate with your team to identify, cultivate, and execute on key opportunities to drive high value deals, serving as Leadership Sponsor for critical customer and prospect relationships, and developing and maintaining a strong network of customers, partners/platforms, and industry thought-leaders.

  • Collaborate with finance and leadership teams to develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts,

  • Recruit, nurture, and performance manage a team of exceptional sales professionals.

  • Serve as an ambassador for Truevo, and participate in industry events to represent Truevo and our capabilities to the market.

  • Act as a proactive contributor and collaborator within the senior leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with 5+ years in sales leadership roles within the payment industry, demonstrating an exceptional track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team towards success.
  • Strong understanding of payment industry dynamics, including knowledge of payment processing, merchant services, fintech solutions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster long-term client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Proactive, results-oriented approach with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation.
