✨The core mission of the Head of Analytics:

As the Head of Analytics at HTB, your mission is to become the master of our data universe. Leading our data-savvy crew of three individuals, you'll harness the power of analytics to communicate valuable business insights to executive stakeholders and support key business/product/marketing/content decisions across the organization.

What are the key success factors for this role? Harness your exceptional stakeholder management prowess to ignite synergy and streamline operations within the data analytics realm, amplifying impact across critical organizational endeavors. From fine-tuning the recommendation system to optimizing SSO data and pioneering innovations in new product lines, seize the opportunity to catalyze transformation and drive unparalleled value. 🍺 The fellowship you’ll be joining:

You will be leading a dynamic team of Data Analysts and Analytics Engineers and you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with stakeholders across the company, including Product Managers, Product Marketers, Marketing, Community, Finance, Customer Success, and Revenue. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Product, this role plays a pivotal part in aligning our analytics efforts with overarching organizational goals.

• Set the departmental vision and culture and champion for the use of data in making key business/product/marketing/content decisions across the organization
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of data analysts/analytics engineers, providing guidance, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities
• Assist product teams with platform reporting
• Offer specialized guidance as an SME while supporting product teams in platform reporting development
• Ensure compliance with data governance processes
• Communicate business insights to executives

🏆 Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role of Head of Analytics at Hack The Box:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Exposure in one of the following areas: Product Analytics, Revenue Analytics, Marketing Analytics
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including execs
• Previous experience in team leading, mentoring
• Experience with iterative delivery methodologies
• Strong statistical and data modeling skills
• Ability to deliver outstanding presentation and convey analytical data to a variety of stakeholders
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity or EdTech is a plus
• Experience in Machine Learning is a plus
• Experience in implementing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures is a plus

• Level 1: Like in any game, you start as a Noob. Level one’s objective: submit your application.
• Level 2: After applying, you unlock the Script Kiddie rank! This level’s objective: pass the screening process.
• Level 3: Now you’re officially ranked as Hacker and you’re ready to meet the Talent Acquisition team. Level’s objective: highlight your past achievements, ambitions, and values.
• Level 4: As a Pro-Hacker at level 4, you’ll unlock the “boss level”, which involves meeting the hiring manager. Level’s objective: connect with the hiring manager and share with them your achievements.
• Level 5: Now you’re an Elite Hacker! Level’s objective: complete an assignment that aligns with day-to-day job-related tasks and responsibilities.
• Level 6: Congratulations, you're now a Guru! Not many reach this level 💪. Level’s objective: have a constructive, final conversation with senior leadership to explore the role and your future at HTB.
• Level 7: You've achieved the Omniscient rank and officially received an offer from HTB! To complete the last level and the Quest, all you need to do is accept the offer.
