The Hoist & Winch business unit at Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Quality Engineer. This individual will oversee all aspects of a project from defining requirements to evaluating project deliverables. The Quality Engineer will work closely with Value Stream Leaders (VSL’s) to assure projects are completely on time. This position will be in a multi-disciplinary team environment and will need to be able to thrive on tackling challenges. There will be heavy customer interaction in this role to meet the needs and expectations of the customer.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for both Program and Product Quality Engineering.
• Identifies and manages risk in product development primarily utilizing and driving PPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.). Develops proactive quality initiative strategies and drives their implementation.
