Senior Engineer

To cope with the growth of the business in the Building Engineering – MEP team, we would invite high caliber candidates to apply for the above position. Candidates will be assigned to specific sub-functions based on their experience.

Scope of Works / Sub-Teams:

• Mechanical Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Fire Engineering

• Sustainability

Responsibilities:

• Design of building engineering works (Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical, MVAC, Plumbing & Drainage, Fire Services, Fire Engineering)
• Conduct technical feasibility study, life cycle study and planning for building engineering
• Review of study reports, design reports, technical notes and public consultation papers prepared by subordinates.
• Review tender documents and technical specifications prepared by subordinates.
• Evaluation of tenders and preparation of tender assessment reports
• Project management and contract administration for building engineering contracts
• To supervise junior engineers, provide necessary guidance, training and provide assistance on their technical / professional development

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years relevant work experience in design and project management for the position from consultant or contractor firm
• Chartered Engineer is required
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Experience in managing large-scale building/infrastructure/healthcare/overseas related projects is a must
• Able to assess staff requirements at each work stage and be able to manage single disciplinary and multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience in BIM would be an advantage
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Associate
