The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and marketing efforts of our client, a prestigious winery. Tasked with formulating and executing innovative commercial strategies, the CCO's primary goal will be to significantly boost revenue growth and solidify the winery's position in the market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that are tailored to our business objectives and target market. This includes identifying key growth areas, market segments, and customer personas to effectively position our products and services.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Provide guidance and mentorship to help team members achieve and exceed sales targets and marketing goals.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to proactively identify opportunities for growth. Utilize market research, data analytics, and industry expertise to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and stakeholders to solidify our position as a trusted and preferred provider of products and services. Regularly engage with them to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and explore potential collaborations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, operations, and finance to ensure seamless product launches and effective promotional campaigns. Collaborate with these teams to gather insights, provide input, and align sales and marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Maintain a keen eye on sales performance metrics, such as revenue targets and market share, and promptly take corrective actions when necessary. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing activities, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance, maximize profitability, and drive overall business success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven success in a similar senior leadership role within the wine industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of the wine market, distribution channels, and customer preferences.
  • Strong sales and marketing background with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
