What You’ll Do

Samsung Semiconductor Inc. is looking for a talent that has strong background and experience on physical layout design. The candidate will be developing the next generation memory technology.

The Senior Manager of Layout Design will be responsible for growing Samsung’s memory business, building technology leadership and market opportunities.

• Drive high quality physical layout design projects
• Manage project tasks, estimate project timeline and presenting engineering topics
• Develop of critical custom digital/analog block and integrate full chip level
• Lead the physical layout team and guide junior team members execution of sub block level layout
• Build parametric cells for layout to improve design efficiency and standardization
• Collaborate with process integration and design engineer for core design architecture and technology co-optimization
• Support test element group layout for electrical test structures.
• Customize and improve DRCs for next technology development
• Support tape out process from database transfer and integration.
• Documentation of design details
• Technical interactions with internal and external customers.
