Position Summary:

Responsible of the management of new launches, transfer of lines, increase capacity and layout improvements. Improvement ideas development to get process optimization, increase capacity and cost reduction, through continuous improvement. Innovative strategies deployment by applying the Harman Production System philosophy.

Job Responsibilities:

• New products process planning and development,
  • Mfg. tooling design (Stencil, Fixtures, Screwing Stations, Etc.)
  • Paste printing, Selective solder & Solder reflow Characterization.
  • Development
  • Development of Optical Inspection Programs
  • Conformal coating dispensing & curing characterization.
  • Development of Depaneling Programs
• New product industrialization, including equipment specification, acceptance, installation and launch
• Ensure the process parameters are Stable and fixed for New product launches to hand over to production such as Paste Printing, SPI, Pick and Place, Reflow profiles, AOI, etc.
• Ensure the deployment of the Zero-defect mind set throughout all manufacturing process team members.
• Ensuring the accomplishment of IATF16949 / ISO14001 / OHSAS18001/ IATF and all Workmanships standards for Electronics automotive companies
• Standards (and other specific customer requirements) within the area.
• Ensure the new products / processes are in compliance with appropriate Manufacturing Standards.
• Machineries, Equipment, fixture and tooling validations.
• Strain and other process parameter validation & fixing on all SMD Process
• DFM Analysis in Valor system.
• RFQ Analysis (Placement process).
• TOW & Product Service Support.
• Participate as the CQI 17 Co-auditor lead (must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in electronic assembly manufacturing).

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronic Engineering
• with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing areas as SMT Process Engineer. Project Management (New Launches, Transfer of Lines, Increase Capacity, Process Improvements).
• Risk Analysis oriented.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions.
• Problem Solving and Continuous improvement skills.
• Process Optimization, Line Balancing, Process Design skills.
• Knowledge in PCBA/process failure analysis
• English 90% fluency.
