Purchasing Quality Engineer - MA

Expert in material field Die Casting and respective processes within MA purchasing organization. The regional scope is China to support our BU’s / plants on top offender suppliers. Cooperate and guide suppliers in their processes to overcome the technical/quality problems sustainable by using the principle of “on-site, on-the-spot”. High flexibility for travelling on demand is essential. You´ll also support commercial buyers in projects with challenging technical demands in your commodity/material field.

• Supplier enabling
• Monitoring & continuous improving on supplier's quality performance e.g. Top Offender improvement
• Analyzing quality problems and provide technical solutions.
• Define preventive quality measures and application of quality measures at Suppliers
• Task Force lead, e.g. coordination and leading team, regular meetings, OPL tracking
• Support in challenging projects with technical expertise

Requirements

• Good language skills in English (writing, speaking, negotiation), further language skills are welcome.
• University degree in mechanical-electronic area or related field.
• More than 5 years working experiences within technical / manufacturing environment preferable in Automotive Industry.
• Project Management.
• Dedicated expert teams for Problem Solving methods.
• Knowledge of (based on real case) etc. manufacture process, Quality tools (8D Method, 5xWhy, Ishikawa, Problem Solving, Design and PFMEA., 14 Q Basics, 1st and 2nd party process audit experience with potential further development to certified VDA volume 6.3 Lead Process Auditor.
• Process competence, basic lean & 6 Sigma knowledge preferred, material and process knowledge are Key
• Competence on digitalization:
• Experience on digital tools/platforms for data collection, analysis, and visualization
• Experience in areas such as digital transformation, digital marketing, e-commerce,
• or digital product development e.g., EV related will be highly valued.
