Role Purpose
You will execute against key HR processes within a country, which ensure a consistent employee experience and drive compliance with key local HR policies and local regulations.
Key Accountabilities
Developing and implementing HR strategy. You will be responsible for the successful implementation of strategic HR initiatives at the local level.
Retaining talent. You will assist with retention plans and strategies in your local market, partnering with EE and HRBP leaders as required to track and ensure execution of all required payments, etc.
Talent management and development. You will support the roll out of global and regional development initiatives and programs within the respective country or sub-cluster.
Employee relations, labor relations and performance management. You will ensure compliance with local HR policies and procedures. You’ll assist with resolution of local employee relations issues. You will provide the required data and information required by locally relevant Works Councils and Unions. Lastly, you’ll assist with the execution of Performance Improvement plans (PIPs) at the local level.
Culture, values and Diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) You will maintain a positive organizational culture in your local market, aligned to the organization's values and mission, which includes promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion. You’ll support with local implementation or global and regional initiatives (eg. Workplace with Purpose, policy change implementation). You’ll support the execution of and compliance with annual processes such as performance management and annual compensation planning.
Change management and communication. You will assist with local implementation of change initiatives, as initiative by global or local HR leaders. You’ll ensure appropriate, on the ground, support of local associates.
Compliance. You will support organizational compliance with all relevant laws and regulations relating to HR, including labor laws, employment standards and local norms. You’ll partner with the security team on health and safety regulations as applicable. You’ll support compliance with key HR processes, driving local compliance through reporting and local follow up (eg. merit, goals, bonus, SIP, performance reviews, Code of Conduct, etc.).
