Agile /PMO Manager

As a Manager specializing in Project Management & Strategy within the Energy and Resources industry, you will play a critical role in guiding our clients through complex challenges and transformations unique to this sector. Leveraging your extensive experience in agile project management, waterfall methodology, migration planning, change management, product management, data and IT strategy, business resilience, and business continuity, you will lead projects that drive operational efficiency, enhance sustainability, and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support project teams in delivering high-impact solutions to clients in the energy and resources sector, ensuring alignment with industry-specific objectives, regulations, and best practices.
• Provide expert guidance on agile project management methodologies tailored to the unique requirements of energy and resources projects, facilitating agile ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement.
• Apply waterfall methodology principles to projects where appropriate, ensuring a structured approach to project planning, execution, and delivery in alignment with industry standards.
• Develop comprehensive migration plans for clients undergoing technological advancements, digital transformations, or organizational changes within the energy and resources sector, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Lead change management initiatives, helping clients navigate industry shifts, regulatory changes, and stakeholder expectations while driving adoption of new processes, technologies, and sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with clients to define product management strategies for energy and resources products and services, including energy commodities, renewable energy solutions, and resource extraction technologies.
• Develop and execute data and IT strategies tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities within the energy and resources industry, leveraging technology to optimize operations and drive innovation.
• Provide expertise in business resilience and business continuity planning, helping clients mitigate risks associated with energy supply chain disruptions, environmental factors, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Energy Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a consulting role, with a focus on project management, strategy, and business transformation within the energy and resources industry.
• Native proficiency in Arabic and English (speaking, reading, and writing a must)
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects within the energy and resources sector, utilizing agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Strong understanding of migration planning, change management, product management, data and IT strategy, business resilience, business continuity, and cybersecurity within the context of energy and resources operations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels of the organization.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or industry-specific credentials are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the energy and resources sector.
