Your mission at Sistema.bio:

Reporting to the AVP MarCom's, as the Communications Manager for India, you will be in charge of developing effective PR and Communications strategies targeting a range of audiences for the region. You will work closely with our business development, partnership and leadership teams to create and promote content that showcases our thought leadership to initiate strategic partnerships and secure funding opportunities. Your primary responsibility is to strategically manage and enhance the organization's public image and reputation.

You’ll be in charge of:

• Developing and executing a strategic communication plan to enhance the Sistema.bio's brand recognition for all our audiences with special focus on funding partners.

• Creating compelling content, narrative, video scripts and communication materials (authored articles, stories, testimonials, Q&As) as per target audience and ensuring consistency across all communication channels.

• Building and nurturing relationships with media, both traditional and digital, to ensure accurate brand visibility and engagement for Sistema.bio

• Overseeing the organization of virtual and in-person events (speakers’ opportunity, webinars, industry forums) for key corporate stakeholders showcasing Sistema.bio

• Manage the in-house creative & content team and external agencies (graphic designers, filmmaker agencies) for marketing and outreach material production.

• Tracking and measuring the impact of the company's communications efforts. Managing PR & Communication budget to ensure maximum cost-efficiency.

More about YOU:

Education: Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related bachelor's degree/master's degree.

Key Experiences & Skills:

• More than 5+ years of experience in journalism/communication in Sustainability/Renewable/ Agri sector.

• Proven experience with media relations and strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets.

• Strong writing and editing skills in English.

• Solid experience with social media, including blogs, LinkedIn, Twitter, Mailchimp,etc.

• Proven capacity to work in a multidisciplinary or multi-agency setting.

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Dropbox, GSuite and familiar with Adobe Creative Suite.

• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment under deadlines.

• Planning and organizational skills, including proven expertise in follow-up and follow-through to complete projects.

• Ability to think quickly and determine creative solutions to a variety of unexpected challenges.

• Ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with diverse populations.
