Business Controller - TCO

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Business Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and strategic financial planning. You will work closely with management to provide insights and analyses that contribute to the company's growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management
• Participate in preparation of long-term forecast and resource allocation
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Assess and improve internal control systems to minimize the risk of errors and fraud
• Collaborate with auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate provision of necessary information
• Cash management
• Participate in all audit activities

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Master's degree in economics/finance, or a bachelor's degree with relevant experience
• A background from the industry or experience from one of the major auditing firms
• Solid experience with Excel, ERP systems and possibly Power BI
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from complex datasets
• Systematic and independent
• Initiative, the ability to see things through and to work with others
• Good verbal and written formulation in Norwegian and English
