As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are seeking a talented Content Strategist to join our marketing team.

Role accountabilities:

Content Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive website and content strategy aligned with the company's goals and brand voice.
  • Conduct research to understand our target audience, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform content decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for content optimization and expansion to increase brand visibility and drive engagement.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Create a repository of high-quality content for the company's blog, website, and social media channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling ad copy, email campaigns, and product descriptions that effectively communicate our value proposition and drive conversions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and delivery, to gather information and insights for content creation.

Content Distribution and Promotion:

  • Working collaboratively with the multichannel and digital marketing function, develop strategies to maximize the reach and impact of our content through SEO, social media, email marketing, and other distribution channels.
  • Monitor content performance metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize content distribution and promotion efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in content marketing to continuously improve our approach.

Brand Alignment and Consistency:

  • Ensure that all content produced aligns with our brand guidelines, values, and messaging across all regional brands.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging to reinforce our brand identity and strengthen brand recognition.

Multi-Channel Campaign Development:

  • Create and oversee consistent, multi-channel marketing campaigns spanning both digital and traditional direct marketing channels.
  • Develop integrated campaign strategies that leverage a combination of online and offline tactics to reach our target audience effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align campaign messaging, creative assets, and promotional activities across all channels.

Digital Marketing Campaigns:

  • Work collaboratively with agencies, and media teams to develop digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, display advertising, and search engine marketing (SEM).
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to optimize campaign performance, analyze results, and implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Monitor campaign metrics and KPIs to track performance and ROI, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve campaign objectives.

Traditional Direct Marketing:

  • Plan and execute traditional direct marketing campaigns, such as direct mail, print advertising, and outdoor advertising, in alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to create impactful print materials and ensure brand consistency across all offline marketing channels.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of traditional direct marketing campaigns, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in developing and overseeing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including both digital and traditional direct marketing channels
  • Proven experience in content strategy, creation, and management, preferably in a similar exteriors industry (roofing, siding, windows)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and engaging content for diverse audiences
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, content distribution strategies, and digital marketing tactics
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and techniques, including email marketing, social media advertising, and PPC campaigns
  • Familiarity with traditional direct marketing methods, such as direct mail, print advertising, and outdoor advertising
  • Ability to develop cohesive campaign strategies that integrate online and offline marketing channels for maximum impact
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for storytelling
  • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners to coordinate campaign execution and ensure brand consistency
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and metrics to measure performance and optimize strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization
