Senior Frontend Software Engineer

A small team within Outbrain R&D is looking for an organized, experienced frontend developer to help us continue building and simplifying the experience across our platform. You will be joining us developing sophisticated frontend products with a reach of billion browsers all over the world. We're looking for creative

and enthusiastic developers who love to solve problems and want to help us build the future of content on the web for devices large and small.

A day in the life

• Design and develop awesome, high performance products using HTML, CSS, TS, JavaScript (vanilla) with modern technologies. You will develop exciting products and experiences which have a worldwide reach.
• Build tools using the most up-to-date frontend technologies (such as Typescript, React and more).
• Test, monitor and collect insights for your developments.
• Knowing server side languages is a big plus. We are also building scalable, extensible, and robust server-side APIs using Java/NodeJS.
• Development in a Microservices CI\CD environment.

What you’ll bring

• 3 Years of Hands-on experience in Javascript, especially with vanilla JavaScript (ES6), TypesScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience in design and development of web applications.
• Well familiar with server-side technologies.

Bonus:

• Experience in frontend/full stack development in a product based company.
• BA/BSc degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Fast learner, able to adapt to new technologies.
• A team player, well organized.
• Self-motivated with a real can-do attitude.
• Ability to write SQL queries and do a basic data analysis.
