Description: PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio-Visual Fabrication Engineer Intermediate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fabrication, from concept development to final assembly, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The Senior AV Fabrication Engineer will play a key role in driving innovation, optimizing workflows, and delivering cutting-edge AV solutions to our clients.

Location: Carlisle Barracks Pennsylvania

Required Clearance: Secret

Required Education: HSD or GED, AVIXA CTS or similar

Required Experience: Four+ (4+) years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

· Manage-plan-oversee team-coordinate, audio visual support; set up-operate audiovisual equipment for events.

· Perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions.

· Lead the fabrication team in planning, organizing, and executing AV fabrication projects from start to finish.

· Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective execution.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors to clarify project requirements, establish project scope, and communicate project status and milestones.

· Create detailed fabrication plans, including material selection, component sourcing, and assembly instructions.

Requirements:

· Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create technical drawings, schematics, and 3D models for fabrication purposes.

· 4+ years of experience in AV fabrication, including experience in a leadership or senior engineering role.

· Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for technical drawings and 3D modeling.

· Experience with electrical wiring, soldering, and assembly of electronic components.

· Knowledge of audio visual systems, equipment, and technologies, including displays, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, and control systems.

· Ensure that fabrication processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.

Preferred Qualifications: Assoc or Tech degree preferred (not required)
