About The Team:

Noah’s Instruments and Accessories (I&A) Team is responsible for the development of endoluminal instrument and accessories that are safe, effective and on-time. We are a dynamic, data-driven team and pride ourselves on our creative and collaborative approach to problem solving. We continuously strive to for win-win solutions that our customers love. Noah Medical I&A team members have the traditional role of design and prototyping but also take the lead on design requirements, specifications, design risk assessment, test methods, verification testing and more. I&A also plays a critical cross functional role in support through production and even post-market performance assessments. A Day In The Life Of Our Staff Product Engineer :

  • Oversee and execute tasks related to maintaining product consistency and quality
  • Oversee and execute the process of converting internal and external product complaints into meaningful improvements
  • Coordinate testing to maintain compatibility among multiple systems as the systems undergo design changes.
  • Own the testing and analysis of returned field devices, including flexible endoscopes, disposable devices, and capital devices/equipment.
  • Partner with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure that issues that arise are well understood and addressed. Driven to achieve consistent, high-quality parts and assemblies.
  • Contribute to driving down the cost of components by strategically selecting appropriate suppliers and processes.
  • Manage a small team of product engineers

About You:

  • At least 7 years experience in the medical device industry
  • Experienced working alongside manufacturing teams and quality teams
  • Proficient in project management and handling multiple workstreams. Well organized to keep on top of a wide breadth of responsibilities and tasks
  • Expert in root cause analysis. Enjoys putting the puzzle pieces together to figure out how things work and fail.
  • Experienced with clinical context and use of medical devices
  • Proficient in use of CAD
  • Knowledge of various fabrication methods used in single use, complex medical devices(e.g. machining, plastic injection molding, MIM, laser cutting, stamping, rapid prototyping).
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment.
  • B.S. or M.S. in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline.
