Who We Are:

Publica is the publisher-focused arm of Integral Ad Science, leading the charge in advertising technology for connected television (CTV). As audiences transition from linear TV to digital, our mission is to deliver innovative ad experiences on the big screen, enhancing viewer engagement and maximizing publisher revenue.

What We Need to Build Together:

Publica’s platform integrates a CTV ad server with a real-time bidding solution that facilitates a competitive auction between direct sales and over 50 video Sell Side Platforms (SSPs). Our tools also allow publishers to measure and verify their inventory, harnessing the advanced capabilities of IAS to ensure transparency and optimize ad performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives, focusing on leveraging advanced ad tech to enhance product offerings.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize a deep understanding of the ad tech stack, including bid streams, DSPs, SSPs, and CTV, to drive product innovation and solve complex industry challenges.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, UX/UI, and Sales teams to synthesize technical design decisions, product features, and market needs into a cohesive product strategy.
  • Visionary Product Planning: Own the vision, roadmap, and execution of key product areas, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and adapting to emerging market trends.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop strong relationships with agency, brand, and publisher partners to gather insights and feedback, ensuring our products meet their evolving needs.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Define Product Strategy: Articulate and implement a clear, strategic vision for the future of connected TV and other digital channels at Publica.
  • Innovate and Execute: Drive the development of new features and enhancements, from UI/UX improvements to complex data engineering pipelines, ensuring our solutions set the industry standard for innovation.
  • Lead and Mentor: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within your team, mentoring staff, and guiding them through complex project landscapes.

You Should Apply If You Have Most of This Experience:

  • Product Management Mastery: 6+ years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on AdTech, particularly in environments related to connected TV and real-time bidding platforms.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical background with experience in SQL, Python, or relevant programming languages, and familiarity with GitHub for overseeing code changes.
  • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the advertising technology landscape, including direct experience with CTV, DSPs, DMPs, and data activation platforms.
  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead product teams and projects, inspiring innovation and achieving significant, measurable impacts on the product and business.
  • Superb Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to a wide range of audiences, from engineering teams to executive stakeholders.

California Applicants: The salary range for this position is $116,900 - $200,400. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
