Key area of responsibilities

  1. Inventory Management:

    • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; process purchasing orders as required; track orders and investigate problems.
    • Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile with system data to ensure accuracy.
    • Manage inventory control procedures to prevent discrepancies and report on any issues.
  2. Receiving and Shipping:

    • Oversee the receipt of incoming materials and ensure that they are checked for quality and accuracy against purchase orders.
    • Coordinate the storage of goods in an organized manner, ensuring easy retrieval.
    • Prepare and coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  3. Warehouse Operations:

    • Ensure efficient operation of the warehouse, including regular inspection and maintenance of equipment.
    • Implement and monitor safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Organize and maintain warehouse layout for optimal efficiency and space utilization.
  4. Team Coordination:

    • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receipts.
    • Generate regular reports on inventory status, warehouse performance, and other key metrics.
    • Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  6. Customer Service:

    • Address and resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or damaged goods.
    • Liaise with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Service, to address customer needs and concerns.

Working Conditions:

  • This position involves frequent physical activity, including walking, lifting, and operating warehouse equipment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
