**Eurac Research is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “Humanita - Human-Nature Interactions and Impacts of Tourist Activities on Protected Areas", under the Programme Interreg Central Europe.
The objective of the Interreg project "Humanita " is to support sustainable tourism in protected areas by developing good practices to preserve these areas and open them to visitors.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities and tasks:
- Support developing monitoring methods and data sets to detect environmental impacts of tourists;
- Support with data representation on a web-based interactive platform;
- Support with analysis and comparison of results, design methods and activities to engage tourists;
- Help with communication tasks (newsletter, brochures, news to be published on web pages, social media platforms, emails);
- Support with the development of training materials for a summer school for students.
Other information:
Financial support of: 32 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Bolzano, Italy.
Start and duration: October 2024, for 6 month(s).
Languages*: English (C1), Italian (A2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.
